If you’ve ever wondered, “Where’s the best place to live in Summerlin?”—you’re in good company. Teresa and I recently explored one of the area’s newest gems: Edgewood by Tri Pointe Homes, located in the heart of Grand Park Village. Let us take you behind the scenes and show you why this neighborhood is turning heads.
Edgewood is more than just a new community—it’s a lifestyle upgrade. With 57 homesites, Tri Pointe offers four floor plans, but Plan Two really stood out for us. It’s just under 2,400 square feet with three en suite bedrooms and an extra half bath downstairs—perfect for both convenience and privacy. Vaulted ceilings and a low-maintenance layout make this home both stylish and practical.
Having gone through the new build process ourselves, we can offer advice that saves you time, money, and stress—from navigating builder upgrades to adding custom touches after closing.
Teresa couldn’t stop talking about the vaulted ceilings—they really make the space feel open and serene. We also loved the option to order black register vents and sprinkler heads. It’s a small detail, but it adds a sleek, finished look.
The homes use high-contrast styling in a way that feels cozy, not stark. Think: wide oak planks underfoot and a black-and-white palette softened by warm wood finishes.
And here’s a tip we swear by: After close, go for vinyl wall treatments that mimic grasscloth. They look luxe but are way more durable in Vegas’ dry heat.
Want a spa-like bathroom without the upgrade premiums? We recommend installing mirrors and lighting. We’ve helped dozens of clients achieve a designer look with affordable materials—and thoughtful planning during the build stage helps, too. Add a fireplace later, relocate a few switches—these tweaks go a long way.
This clever design motif—sharp, angular shapes inspired by the outline of Nevada—adds personality and a sense of place you won’t find elsewhere. It’s one of those subtle features that elevates the design without being flashy.
Let’s talk about the views: Strip, city, and mountain. These homes are oriented to take full advantage of the surrounding beauty. And if you don’t think you have room for a pool—think again. Many of these homes fit a plunge pool into a small yard, perfect for evening dips and entertaining without giving up space.
Tri Pointe’s BB Edit Style Finder Quiz (designed by Bobby Berk) is a fun way to figure out your vibe. But here’s the truth: upgrading through the builder gets expensive fast. Instead, we’ll help you recreate your dream look post-close—same effect, fraction of the cost.
Edgewood is one of those rare finds that combines thoughtful architecture, stunning surroundings, and real design potential.
If it’s caught your eye, let’s chat. With our design experience and trusted contractor network, your new Summerlin home can be both breathtaking and budget-wise.
We’d love to help you fall in love—with your home, your style, and your future here.
